Texas prisoners and the telephone

This is only good news AFTER I figure out how to block calls. But I guess it is good for other people.
Texas the last state to give inmates regular phone privileges
For the first time ever, Texas prison inmates will soon be able to pick up a phone and reach out to family and friends on a regular basis.

What are you Texans nuts! Without hearing from your family and friends cause God knows nobody writes or reads anymore well how is a person suppose to hold on to what is good in life when surrounded by cold grey walls?
No wonder you got so many Death Row inmates the first trip to jail just hardens a crooks heart until they hate the world! Even Illinois lets you call home!
Please tell me they at least have books in jail in Texas.
