Some teenagers are stupid! And some are just uninformed. They NEED to start giving us the real facts or kids will be killing themselves trying to stay healthy. I wrote about teen pregnancy and sex education previously here and here and here.

- ORLANDO, Fla. — A recent survey that found some Florida teens believe drinking a cap of bleach will prevent HIV and a shot of Mountain Dew will stop pregnancy has prompted lawmakers to push for an overhaul of sex education in the state.
The survey showed that Florida teens also believe that smoking marijuana will prevent a person from getting pregnant.
State lawmakers said the myths are spreading because of Florida’s abstinence-only sex education, Local 6 reported.

When did Abstinence only become science free? The truth will set you free even if its the truth about sex. At some point people have to trust their kids even if they do make mistakes because making mistakes is part of learning.
Poor women in several countries are married at very young ages and know more about sex than the educated people in this country.
Maybe thats why the divorce rate is so high?
